What is Invicta Tweed?

Invicta Tweed is a new company dedicated to making the highest quality tweed items in small runs to minimise waste and give our customers a more exclusive and individual experience. All our products are made entirely in England ensuring that the benefit of any success is shared with the artisans in our industry.

We are using wool from Romney sheep, renowned for its durability, fineness and vibrant beauty. The resulting woven cloth is finer - it is worsted, softer to the touch, lighter, and yet very hard wearing.

We design our tweed to include an ecru thread of organic, undyed Romney wool. It’s a reminder of the simple humble origin of our tweed.

We source, scour, dye, weave and finish the cloth entirely in England.  The wool industry is part of the history of England and we still have World-class craftsmen and women with whom we work.

We only make very small runs of tweed. That ensures we don’t make more than we can sell and create waste, but also ensures that each run is very special and unique.

We then create limited editions and individually number each item. Creating minimal waste and highly durable items that will give pleasure for many years.

Our first project is a classic cap and a baker-boy hat.

There are only 200 of each style being produced.
